Author Guidelines

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

1.       Articles must be original (not plagiarism) and has never been published in another journal. If ever presented in the form of seminars, workshops, etc., author have to make an additional notes to inform the activities, dates, and locations.

2.       Articles are written by a program Microsoft Word 2010 to the top, A4 size paper, page margins: top 4 cm, left 4 cm, bottom 3 cm, and right 3 cm, typed with 1,15 space (except abstract, typed with single space), font Times New Roman 12, text format in one column.

3.       Please submit your manuscript file as a Microsoft Word extension Document (DOC).

4.       Title and Abstract write in English and Indonesian, content manuscript can be written in Indonesian.

Brief Guidelines for Contributors

The length of the manuscript of no more than 5000 words or 10-15 page.

Articles are written by systematic and the following provisions.

  1. Title (in Bahasa Indonesia and English): written in a concise and informative, maximum 20 words (single-spaced) should reflect the substance of the variables described in the article body, except location of research (Location Mentioned in method)
  2. Name of Author: without titles, the author can be an individual or a team (consist of ≥ 2 peoples).
  3. Affiliation: name of the institution.
  4. E-mail Address: which is located under the author's name.
  5. Abstract (in English): Write in one paragraph, total of words between 150-200 words. Abstracts should contain an introduction, methods, results and discussion, and conclusions.  The abstract is single-spaced and typed with Font Times New Roman size 9
  6. Abstrak (dalam Bahasa Indonesia). Ketentuan sama dengan abstract dalam Bahasa Inggris namun dituliskan dalam Bahasa Indonesia
  7. Keywords: terms that reflect the essence of the concept within the scope of the problem may consist of several pieces of terms (consist of 3 – 5 words, except the location of research)

The body of manuscript:

  1. Research consist of: INTRODUCTION, METHODS, RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, and CONCLUSIONS.
  2. Review consist of an preliminary scientific study that shows the problems and framework of analysis, sub-subtitle that contains the DISCUSSION and CONCLUSIONS.

 

  1. Reference/ Bibliography: use APA (American Psychological Association) citation rules, cultivated from a primary source and just acknowledgment of the source designated in the article body. Instead, the name that is referenced in the body must exist in the bibliography. Second row to the right of the entrance 7 letter. Here are some examples of writing a bibliography of several types of sources. Recommended to use Citation Software Ex. MENDELEYZOTERO etc.

Abstract: Abstract made in two languages namely Indonesian and English. Abstract consisting of one paragraph, total of words between 150-200 words. Abstract should contain an introduction, methods, results and discussion, and conclusions. Form articles or reviews can be adjusted. Abstract does not contain a description of mathematical and statistical language, it does not contain a quote, and do not use abbreviations. The abstract written in single-spaced.

Abstrak: Abstrak dibuat dalam dua bahasa yakni Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris. Abstrak terdiri dari satu paragraf, ditulis dalam spasi single, jumlah kata antara 150 - 200 kata. Abstrak harus memuat pendahuluan, metode, hasil dan pembahasan, dan kesimpulan. Kecuali, jika artikel berupa kajian atau review dapat disesuaikan. Abstrak tidak memuat uraian matematis dan bahasa statistik, tidak mengandung kutipan, dan tidak menggunakan singkatan. Abstrak ditulis menggunakan spasi single.

PENDAHULUAN

Bagian pendahuluan berisi latar belakang, kajian literatur yang digunakan sebagai dasar penelitian yang dilakukan, permasalahan penelitian, atau hipotesis. Jika, artikel berupa kajian atau review cukup menampilkan permasalahan, kerangka kerja analisis, dan sub-sub judul yang dapat disesuaikan dengan isi kajian atau review yang dilakukan. Di bagian akhir pendahuluan dapat pula dituliskan tujuan penulisan artikel.

 

METODE

Pada bagian ini berisi metode, jenis data, sumber data, teknik pengumpulan data, teknik analisis data, dan pengukuran variabel. Dibuat dalam bentuk paragraf dan tidak dibuat numbering. Simbol-simbol statistik menggunakan simbol-simbol dan istilah standar misalnya t-test bukan t-hitung.

 

HASIL DAN PEMBAHASAN

Berisi hasil temuan penelitian dimana antara hasil dan pembahasan tidak dilakukan pemisahan. Harapannya dalam pembahasan ini penulis mengkaji hasil temuannya dan dirujuk silangkan dengan studi teoritik maupun studi empirik yang ditulis dengan sistematis, analisis yang kritis, dan informatif. Penggunaan tabel, gambar, dan sebagainya hanya sebagai pendukung yang memperjelas pembahasan dan dibatasi hanya pada pendukung yang benar-benar substantial, misalnya tabel hasil pengujian statistik, gambar hasil pengujian model, dan sebagainya. Pembahasan hasil bersifat argumentatif menyangkut relevansi antara hasil, teori, penelitian terdahulu, dan fakta empiris yang ditemukan, serta menunjukkan kebaruan temuan. Penggunaan tabel sangat disarankan tidak terlalu panjang, dan jika memang perlu memasukkan tabel yang panjang, maka dibuat dalam lampiran.

KESIMPULAN

Bagian ini berisi kesimpulan yang ditulis dalam satu atau dua paragraf. Kesimpulan ditulis dalam bentuk esai, tidak dalam bentuk numerikal. Kesimpulan hendaknya merupakan jawaban atas pertanyaan penelitian, dan tidak dijelaskan dalam kalimat statistik. Jika perlu menuliskan saran atau rekomendasi, maka dituliskan menyatu dalam paragraph kedua.

Daftar pustaka pada Jurnal Psikologi Poseidon ditulis dengan spasi single dan mengikuti format APA (American Psychological Association) 6th Edition. Penulisan referensi sebaiknya menggunakan aplikasi referensi seperti Mendeley, End Note, Zotero, atau lainnya.

APA utilizes a system of brief referencing in the text of a paper, whether one is paraphrasing or providing a direct quotation from another author’s work. Citations in the text usually consist of the name of the author(s) and the year of publication. The page number is added when utilizing a direct quotation.
